Saint Simeon?s is built on the "Seven Values" that we believe are vital for a caring community:
Integrity reflected in our heritage and vigilant commitment to the highest professional standards.
Dedication reflected in all of those serving the Residents - the Board of Trustees, the Staff and Volunteers.
Compassion reflected in our loving care given to all Residents.
Accountability reflected in our commitment to providing the best care at an affordable cost.
Humility reflected in our never-ending commitment to excellence in care.
Respect reflected in preserving the dignity and individuality of each Resident.
Patience reflected in taking time to fulfill individual needs and offering peace of mind to Residents.
As a Natural Wildlife Habitat accredited by the National Wildlife Federation, Saint Simeon's is a safe place for beautiful creatures such as peacocks, koi, doves, and others, to raise their young and find food and shelter. Our Residents enjoy watching these peaceful forms of wildlife roam throughout the courtyards. Residents also have the opportunity to tend to the grounds if they wish through our Resident garden. Each year, our campus "green thumbs" yield a bountiful harvest of tomatoes, sunflowers, pumpkins, and more.
Saint Simeon's Residents benefit from the many walking paths campus-wide. Our own Eckel Park, situated on campus, allows Residents the opportunity to take a morning or evening walk while enjoying the hundreds of types of flora and fauna on campus.
In addition, the Saint Simeon's Auxiliary hosts a monthly Flora and Fauna Committee, in which interested Residents, family members, and volunteers can learn more about the unique types of flowers and plants growing on our campus and elsewhere.
Saint Simeon's values its current and past Residents, and families have an opportunity to pay tribute to their loved ones by sponsoring a tree, bench cluster, or statue. Naturally, Saint Simeon's beloved first "campus canine," Simone I, is memorialized through a chainsaw wood sculpture that depicts her alongside our current campus canine, Simone II. This is just one of the many unique sculptures Residents and guests can enjoy during a leisurely stroll around campus.
Our Residents find Saint Simeon's to be a serene, country retreat that is still close to the fun of downtown and Midtown Tulsa. We invite you to come tour our beautiful grounds and apartments!
