The following dog breeds are not permitted: Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chows, Doberman Pinschers, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Huskies, Pit Bulls (American Staffordshire Terriers & Staffordshire Bull Terriers), Rottweilers, St. Bernards, Wolf Hybrids, and Bull Mastiffs. Other Breed and Weight Restrictions may apply. Please call the leasing office for complete pet policy details and restrictions.

Took over tree months to get my garbage disposal fixed, poor conditions of all appliances when i moved in. Don Read More't think anyone inspected the apt. before i moved in. Never fixed my dishwasher the entire time i lived there and am now expected to pay for damages that were not taken care of by mantenence when should have been fixed promptly.

Office manager/staff is rude, I was told there are only two maintenance guys for the whole apartment complex w Read Morehich is ridiculous. It takes way too long to get a maintenance over to repair any issues. At one time they never came and fixed what I called them for. I even called several times but no show. I will not be renewing my lease and will not recommend anyone to live at southport.

Thank you for your response. It is standard in the apartment industry to have 1 maintenance tech per 100 units. South Port has 240 units, so 2 meets criteria. Everything is fine, except for these random unexplained fees in my rent (i.e. ambulance fee). My neighbors smo Read Moreke which seeps into our apt often and I hate that, but all I could do is move. I'm going to move out as soon as I can, and that will be why.

Thank you for your response. The ambulance fee on your water bill is charged through the City, and is a program that the property enrolled in. Because you pay that fee, if you ever need the assistance of an ambulance, you will not be charged. South Port will be opting out of the program at the next available date, which is November 2014. Office and maintenance staff are always friendly and on top of their job. Maintenance gets work orders done in Read More a timely manor. I never have to call and ask multiple times for them to fix the problem. The grounds are always clean and I feel safe.

My apartment wasn't ready on my move in date. It took 2 months to complete items on my move in list and I have Read More waited over a month for my shower faucet to be replaced...I am using vice grips to shower each day. The pool was closed several days over the summer due to residents causing damage...as the pool area is not monitored. I have seen police on property on several occassions. I was injured on property due to excess mud on the sidewalks from sprinkler repair.
