Collins Circle is a nice place to live. The rent seems a little high, especially in relation to the square foo Read Moretage that you get, but I guess it's also important to remember that we're technically in downtown Portland. It's lower than other locations (such as the Pearl District, etc.). The staff is friendly though and respond immediately to any concerns or issues.

Old carpet, apartment has never had a fresh coat of paint in the six years I have lived here. Nor was it ever Read Morefreshly painted when I moved in six years ago. I visit friends in the building, I pay as much as they do, and they have new wood floors, new appliances. And the building management will not let me move to the same floor plan as I have now. I have to move to a one bedroom.

My experience so far at Collins Circle has been, for the most part, very positive. The front office staff are Read Morefriendly and helpful. The location in Goose Hollow right by the MAX stop is awesome. Closet space in a studio apartment is minimal and bike rack space in the parking garage is at a premium, but there is extra storage available. There's a no smoking clause in the lease which, unfortunately, some tenants conveniently ignore, but if you alert management they will address it.
