Living in Dublin, PA

Bucks County was founded in 1682 by William Penn. The first settlers, many of Scotch-Irish descent, began working the farmland and erected several taverns, which drew people to the area. Dublin was incorporated in 1912, and although its population has fluctuated over the years, the borough continues to be a great place to live.

Dublin is still rich in farmland. The town has a population of approximately 2,000, and although it may be small, it has a lot to offer. There is a corner tavern, hardware store, diner, supermarket, several restaurants and gifts and collectible stores. In 2011, Main Street began to see improvements thanks to a revitalization grant. Dublin is within 25 miles of several places of higher education, including Lehigh University and Bucks County Community College, and less than 10 miles from three hospitals.
