Living in Emmaus, PA

Emmaus was formed in 1759 as a Moravian village. In 1859, Emmaus was incorporated as a traditional Pennsylvania borough. The arrival of the railroad helped expand the town's economy throughout the 19th century, and the iron, cigar and bottling industries helped the population to grow.
