The Chestnut Hill Village apartment complex is very clean and tidy. The grounds are well maintained. The townh Read Moreouses are very quiet. I recently had company and everyone was so compementary about my home and the entire area with the neighborhood having such ease of access to a grocery store, drug store, restaurants, post office, etc., ad all in such close proximity to downtown Chestnut Hill.

I have been living here a few years now, and I can say it is a nice place to live. The office staff is very fr Read Moreiendly, and they know me and my fiance (and our dog!) and are excited to see us every time we are there. The maintenance team is fantastic and very responsive. I once had a water leak and used some old towels to mop it up before they got there. Not only did they fix the leak and clean the part of my apartment that was wet, they also laundered my towels and returned them to me folded neatly without me asking. The grounds are great, and my dog loves exploring them with me. The complex is continuously improved; they repaved the parking lots this year, and also remodeled the fitness center. I'm very happy to live here and would (and do) recommend living at Chestnut Hill Village to all of my friends.

Chestnut Hill Village is truly a tale of two villages. The grounds and location are charming and convenient to Read More the business district of Chestnut Hill. Improvements in the fitness center, parking lots, landscaping and poo; furniture have been made under the current Community Manager. Sadly, there is a horrible infestation of rodents here. Mice are a terrible problem. They have been a problem for some time. Residents have commented on finding mice in their beds. Now, that's a recipe for nightmares. Cats have caught them. If you choose to live here , be prepared to get a cat. You will have to pay more than $200 and then $30 every month. Add that to a possible $50 rent increase. There is also a fee for exterminating services on top of that...monthly. I have spent money on sonic devices, traps , mint sprays, you name it. Mice are a Village-wide concern. Not an isolated case. With rent increases and the rodent issue, I am not able to give CHV a glowing endorsement. On the other hand, there is beautiful natural beauty in the village and during the summer, the pool makes it feel like resort living. That is until you enter your apartment and are greeted by... you guessed it. Truly a Tail of Two Villages.
