While Broad Street is the major north-south corridor, Lombard and South Streets provide east-west travel across the community, which is just a 10-minute drive from downtown.

Graduate Hospital Schools

The Chester A. Arthur and Edwin M. Stanton schools, two K-8 public elementary schools, as well as the Universal Institute Charter School and Independence Charter School, which admit students based on a lottery, serve the Graduate Hospital community. Arthur sends students to Audenried Senior High while Stanton is a feeder school for South Philadelphia High.
