Wynnewood is a relatively small unincorporated community in southeastern Pennsylvania, approximately seven miles northwest of Philadelphia and eight miles southeast of Wayne. Today, Wynnewood is primarily a well-developed residential community, with a clearly-defined commercial segment.
Wynnewood Attractions and Special Events
There are numerous attractions and things to do for people living in Wynnewood apartments to take advantage of. There are numerous area landmarks that have been preserved to this day, including the Owen House, which is also known as Penn Cottage. The house is made from stone and was built on 442 acres of land that were purchased by Robert Owen in 1695. The house historically served as a court due to its large size.
Residents can also head to Shortridge Park for prime outdoor recreation. The park is part of the Lower Merion Park system and sits alongside Indian Creek.
