Hacienda Creek Overview
Hacienda Creek is located at the terminus of two minor residential streets, adjacent to a public park and a creek. This beautiful, natural setting gives seniors the sense of comfort they have always pursued.. Providing pleasant living environments for seniors has always been one of the key objectives for ROEM Development. This latest 80-unit senior apartment project not only alleviates some of the housing shortage here in the Bay Area, but also allows us to present to the greater community an exemplary senior housing design that can set new standards. The site is located off the ends of two minor residential roads. This perfect, quiet setting gives the senior residents the sense of privacy they have always pursued. The building design also demonstrates our sensitivity in bringing light and view into the interior hallways and activity rooms. The experience of traveling within the building has been made more pleasurable, with convenient access to courtyards and pedestrian paths everywhere. On the exterior, the project takes on a contemporary Mediterranean style of architecture. By incorporating 2-story bays we have articulated the building effectively to bring down its scale. We have also extended the wings of the building deep into the gardens, allowing them to take full advantage of the public park that ROEM Corporation built for the City of San Jose. Resident Services are performed at Hacienda Creek Senior Apartments to improve the quality of life for our residents. We have a free library, community kitchen, and a computer lab for individual access, group classes, and individual tuition. All activities are free of charge to our residents. We provide or facilitate access to the following: computer classes, English Instruction classes, educational, lifestyle, recreational, health and wellness programs, activities that build community involvement among residents and the surrounding neighborhood, recruitment, scheduling, and oversight of volunteer assistance, speakers on topics of interest, flyers, newsletters and other publications, limited case management, linkage to assistance programs provided by faith based organizations and access to translation services.
