Located in the Heart of the East Village is Downtown Des Moines. e5w offers fantastic views, open living areas, and an urban feel that you will find no where else.. The design of the building fuses old with new, with brick, concrete and steel exterior elements. ST Howard designed a building that includes the historical feel of the East Village but also creates an urban, modern feel. The building is be a pre-cast concrete structure. Floors, ceilings, and exterior walls are concrete to give the building a modern, edgy feel. Commercial and residential spaces can retain the modern, urban feel, or can be warmed up with hardwood floors, and soft colors.
