The Frank Estate

"The Frank Estate was built in the 1920's by Aaron Frank. He hired Portland architect Morris H. Whitehouse and a Norwegian craftsman named Hans Andersen to design and construct what was known as Garden Home Farms, a beautiful estate set on 35 acres approximately 6 miles from downtown Portland. We have taken extra care and pride in transforming The Frank Estate into a residential community where the new and old complement each other. The wooded entrance, rolling green lawns, the original riding ring, and scores of specimen trees planted by Aaron Frank remain, capturing a time gone by that Aaron Frank, his friends and family loved and enjoyed. The new residential and recreational buildings have been carefully designed to provide residents with every modern convenience and amenity while blending gracefully with the original design of the estate.
