Located near Interstate 281 and State Route 26, Redfield, SD is a small community that remains connected to South Dakota and the Midwestern lifestyle. The land that would eventually become Redfield was originally surveyed by Chicagoan Frank Meyers back in 1878. Meyers set up the first post office in town just two years later, and it quickly grew into a small city.
