Bardin Oaks Resident

The apartments themselves were pretty nice, but I didn't know this apartment complex was Section 8 Housing. T Read Morehe staff did not do a very good job of policing the community. Neighbors were loud, all the time. Kids under 18 were constantly hanging out in common breezeways of buildings they didn't even live in. My 5 year old daughter and I had to walk past a group of 13-16 year old kids that were hanging out on the bottom of my stairs, talking graphically about s-e-x.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Bardin Oaks is not a Section 8 community, but we do have a small group of residents who receive various forms of housing assistance. We screen all residents in the same way, however we are prohibited by law from discriminating against families with children.
