Casa Linda Dallas Overview

The Casa Linda Estates neighborhood offers the closest thing to “county living” that you’ll ever find in the big city of Dallas. The houses and apartments are set on large lots, there are hardly any sidewalks, and are area itself just feels really spacious compared to the urban areas that surround it. From the mature trees to the vintage homes, Casa Linda Estates is a popular area for young families and people looking to escape the hustle of the city.

That being said, Casa Linda apartments in Dallas are a short, easy commute from Downtown and Lake Highland, so you’re never that far from urban amenities when you want them. Casa Linda Estates offer a different array of conveniences, including some of the best shopping that Dallas has to offer and close proximity to White Rock Lake.

Food & Entertainment in Casa Linda

It’s no secret that shopping is a popular pastime in Dallas. The neighborhood of Casa Linda Estates is home to Casa Linda Plaza, which happens to be The Place where residents of East Dallas go to shop and dine. With a wide variety of restaurants and specialty shops, as well as a grocery store and movie theater, the Plaza serves both as a convenient location for errands and a center for fun with friends and family.

For the lovers of outdoor adventure, Casa Linda apartments in Dallas enjoy many nearby options for experiencing the beauty of nature. Locals appreciate the easy access to White Rock Lake, which is a common area for running, ride bikes, rollerblading, paddle boarding, yoga, and pretty much any other open-air activity you can think of. The nearby Dallas Arboretum also provides a chance to bask in the majesty of nature. This vast botanical garden features seasonal exhibits, occasional free concerts, and a chance to settle in and enjoy a picnic from home.

And just because Casa Linda has a small-town neighborhood feel, don’t mistake that for a lack of culture. The Bath House Cultural Center is a theater, art gallery, and visual arts venue all in one. Many come here to experience a variety of art shows and theater productions throughout the year.

Pet Friendly Apartments in Casa Linda

If your child asks for a pony for their birthday and you live in Casa Linda Dallas, you can literally (and legally) get your child a pony for their birthday. Okay, maybe not when you’re renting an apartment, but home-owners are allowed to have horses if they own over an acre of land.

But to answer the pet-friendly question, almost all of our apartments in Casa Linda accept both cats and dogs. The White Rock Dog Park is a dream-come-true for those with active dogs. Plus the East Dallas vet clinic is close, and there is a Petco located at the Casa Linda Plaza.

Commuting From Casa Linda Estates

The average commute from Casa Linda Estates is about 15 minutes, but it should be noted that a majority of people work downtown. If you’re going to the burbs, the neighborhood has direct access to I-30 which should help make your commute a bit easier. Additionally Garland Avenue (Hwy 78) and Buckner Boulevard (Hwy 12) both run through the neighborhood give easy access to the surrounding neighborhoods.

Education Options in Casa Linda Dallas

There are several options for both public and private schools in Casa Linda Estates. Alex Sanger Elementary School, W.H. Gaston Middle School, and Bryan Adams High School are the closest options for public school, while St. Bernard of Clairvaux School is the most popular option for private education in the area.
