The Platinum Corridor of Dallas offers a unique rental and living experience whether you're new to the city or relocating from another part of Dallas. The development of an office market here earned this community its name in 1997. It's a nearly 14 miles stretch that hugs the Tollway running from the LBJ Freeway north just past State Highway 121 in Frisco, and through the communities of Farmers Branch, Addison, and Plano in addition to Far North Dallas. It also is divided into north and south halves by the President George Bush Turnpike. As its shining name suggests, the Platinum Corridor has much to offer renters.
Platinum Corridor Dallas Lifestyle and Entertainment
The Platinum Corridor is home to Addison, in North Dallas, a hopping town with more than 170 restaurants and 22 hotels. It is the hub of the Platinum Corridor. Addison is home to some of Dallas's most upscale shopping destinations, including Galleria Dallas. Family friendly fun includes the Cavanaugh Flight Museum at Addison Airport, featuring more than 50,000 square feet of displays. The museum has an extensive collection of aircraft and related artwork and artifacts from World War I through Vietnam. You can even arrange a flight in a vintage warbird. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Addison Circle Park. This 10-acre park has plenty of open space, a walking trail, fountains and pools. The site hosts many community events throughout the year.
The Platinum Corridor Dallas Rental Market
Rents are a bit higher in the Platinum Corridor, on average, compared to Dallas in general. You can expect rent for studios apartments to start at $650 a month.One bedrooms range from $680 - $850 in a mid-rise building. Two bedrooms can start at $750 and go up from there.
