If I were to go back to live in Texas, I would defenitley lease there again. Very well maintained, really nic Read Moree office and maintenance staff and really nice and spacious apt unit. Most of all much more affordable than other places and better yet great location, totally family friendly.

Management took every opportunity to gouge renters with high fees for extra amenities such as cable or satelli Read Morete television. After I signed the lease I was told I had to provide proof of a power company before I would be allowed to move in. Dove Park's policy was to maintained the unit's electricity until the renter secured electrical service. I was, however, held responsible for paying 4 days of electricity on the unit that I couldn't occupy until I met their criteria.

Initially they gave some new lease discount, but when we left they charged us all that money in things which d Read Moreidn't make sense, like
1. replace carpet while carpet was clean and not damaged at all
2. replace something about refrigerator, while we left it running in good shape and without single scratch.
We felt like cheated when we left.

As an initial 6-month renter, the apartment provided to me was barely adequate. I arrived to find the unit to Read Moreremove cigarette smoke still plugged in precariously from the ceiling and going at full blast. I choose this apartment as it was relatively close to my contract assignment and the rent was attractive. On arrival I realized that such a rent in North Texas was a clear indication of a less-than-adequate standard of housing that would suit me.
