Overall, the community is great. This is a prime location with great walk-ability. It's not the newest apart Read Morements in the area, but they have been well maintained. The price great for what you get. Most of the people respect their neighbors which is very important in an apartment community. No place is perfect, but I would definitely recommend Gables!

Management is nice, the apartment is lovely and the premises are pet friendly. I have really enjoyed living he Read Morere.

While I'll wait to see what my long term experience of Gables is, based on my move-in I cannot recommend them. Read More While moving across multiple states to a Gables complex, my wife had a medical emergency and had to be hospitalized. Despite contacting Gables multiple times to let them know the situation and that we were still fully committed to moving in and paying rent from the initial move-in date, they contacted me the next day and informed me I had until the end of business day for both my wife and I to sign the lease and pay the first month's rent or they would relist our apartment. Apparently the $400+ in deposit and application fees, or the fact that all our possessions were in a moving truck on the side of the road were not enough to convince them we were still coming. My experience so far is that Gables is happy to see you as a business opportunity, but unwilling to see your humanity.

Gables Citywalk has been an amazing place to live. The lease-signing and move-in process was a breeze. The sta Read Moreff is always easy to reach and very friendly. Maintenance is always great.... I have had to put in two work orders, which were taken care of the same day that the request was made. The apartment complex is quiet and very well-kept. The complex is in a great area with many things to do within walking distance. The Texas Medical Center is 3 miles away, which makes this a great place to live for medical professionals. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live in Houston!
