Living in West Valley City, UT

As more families came, the farming communities of Granger, Hunter, Redwood and Chesterfield also began to prosper. The paving of 3500 South in 1918, the organization of Granger-Hunter Improvement District in 1949 and the town’s first bank in 1956 were stepping stones in making the community a welcoming place to more individuals. By 1980, all the communities formed to incorporate West Valley City.
