I moved in a little over 2 weeks ago. I'm finally getting new carpet that should have been replaced before I m Read Moreoved in. Some of the delay in carpet was because I had to reschedule because I couldn't get my belongings out of the way enough. Like I said though the carpet should of been replaced before I moved in.
I have a roach issue that I informed the office manager about and the staff the day of move in. There were 4 live roaches in broad daylight in the kitchen. I also sent an email with pictures to the office manager to let her know my move in has been a nightmare. They have yet to send the pest control guy out to my apartment.
I have a broken fridge door handle that I let them know about on move in day, hasn't been fixed yet.
They attempted to fix my screen door and then left and said they would come back and do it later.
Behind the stove, washer and dryer were filthy. I wish I could add pictures to this post because I have pictures of it. ***Pictures in comment figured out how to add them.
I also have an issue with what could be mold or mildew in my bathroom that hasn't been addressed. I sent the pictures of that to the apartment manager too.
No one from the office except the maintenance man has been to the apartment to check on anything. I haven't received an email back about my nightmare move in. I have received one about getting me a storage though since both emails went out.
Im at my wit's end with this apartment complex. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone not even my worse enemy.

We moved in just before the transition from Ivystone to The Amber. The Amber is much more organized, more more Read More customer focused and respectful. They always ask before coming into the apartment and deal with any maintenance requests promptly.

The staff and property management are wonderful and always polite and helpful the only issue is the tenants no Read Moret being respectful of the property ( leaving trash on the ground, cigarette butts on the ground in walkways, and speeding through parking lots causing safety issues for children and people pulling out). Other than that this is a great place to live and the staff are great and definitely dedicated to providing whatever services are needed to please us tenants. Assigned parking?

The reason I gave it Average is because there are still bugs every once in a while. The outside near the fron Read Moret doors need to be cleaned up. There are leaves and papers scattered about. Also, the first level patio should be made more privatized.
