Overview of Bellevue

Crossroads Bellevue, Washington is a neighborhood located in the eastern part of the city, south of Redmond. Bellevue is one of the most affluent cities in the state, and CNNMoney has named it one of the best places to live and start a business. This quaint city provides a wide range of upscale experiences to its residents, including shopping, dining, cultural attractions, and parks. Crossroads Bellevue offers easy access to the excitement and activities of Seattle's urban life, as well as the relaxation offered by natural parks, campgrounds, and state forests.

Crossroads Apartments in Bellevue

Since Bellevue is one of the richest cities in the state, rent tends to be higher than other nearby locales, including Seattle. For a single bedroom or studio apartment, rent will range between the lower and upper $1,000s. More luxurious apartments in Crossroads Bellevue, with more bedrooms, bathrooms, and amenities, can rent closer to the $3,000 range. Amenities vary from location to location, and can include covered parking, gated access, fitness centers, and playgrounds.

Crossroads Bellevue Restaurants & Entertainment

Crossroads Bellevue offers a variety of cultural, culinary, and family-friendly activities. The Crossroads Shopping Center, located near the heart of the neighborhood, holds a weekly farmers market, live music, art camps, and a number of other regular events.

For a night of fine dining, downtown Bellevue is only minutes away, and has a selection of wine bars, romantic restaurants, sports bars, fine dining, and shopping. Those interested in a more exciting weekend can get to Seattle's urban entertainment venues within a half an hour.

Weekend warriors and nature lovers also have easy access to the Pacific Northwest's famous green landscape. To the southeast lie several large parks, such as the Squak Mountain State Park and the Tiger Mountain State Forest, and the Cascades are just a bit further to the east.

Pet Friendly Crossroads Apartments Bellevue

Bellevue's natural greenery and parks are the perfect place for any pets and their owners. Pet-friendly apartments are not difficult to find, and Bellevue offers a range of pet facilities, vets, and services. These include independently owned groomers, such as Best Friend's Grooming Salon or Sue's Grooming, and larger chains such as Petsmart.

Crossroads Park, right next to the Crossroads Shopping Center, is quite spacious and permits dogs on leashes. And Marymoor, an enormous park to the northeast of the Crossroads neighborhood, has a large off-leash area, and is the perfect place to let a pet run free.

Commuting From Crossroads Bellevue

Some commutes in the area are worse than others. Those who commute to Redmond, the home of Microsoft, will not have to go very far, but those who commute to Seattle will be in for a long haul. Commuting from Crossroads in Bellevue would require taking the I-90 bridge or the 520 floating bridge, and then turning onto I-5. All three get very congested during peak hours. Buses that cross the water are available, but they also get stuck in traffic jams.

Crossroads Bellevue Schools & Education

Bellevue public schools are served by the Bellevue School District. There are over a dozen elementary schools, five middle schools, and four high schools in the area. There are also several specialized schools, such as an international high school and a Christian school.
