The friendly leasing staff and the beautiful complex will draw you in, but don't be fooled! The place is ridic Read Moreulously expensive and seems to have amenities that make it worth it, but I assure you that they are not. The gym is small and doesn't have adequate weights. The community space is often reserved. The roof top deck has a broken grill. The parking garage is awful trying to park in after work because of the PCC rush. And there are quite a few hidden move out costs that aren't obvious at lease signing (mandatory wall re-paint fees/mandatory carpet cleaning fee/mandatory professional cleaning fee all totaling well over $400 despite the apartment being left in pristine condition.) They will also charge you for turn around time while they do all of the services you will be paying for while they prepare this property for another renter. The place has paper thin ceilings that allow you to hear *everything* that your neighbors are doing above you. The noise from the PCC loading dock in the East building is absurd and won't be mentioned anywhere before signing a lease. They are unable to alter the end dates of the lease prior to signing to make it a better fit for your life circumstances because this is determined by "corporate." Despite adequate notice to vacate to begin marketing the apartment, we were told it had been leased and then after leaving Seattle suddenly their story changed and we were forced to pay over a month and a half of rent after our actual move-out because the place was "vacant". It's been nothing but a frustrating experience since day one, so spare your checkbook and your stress level. Be happy you read this review before renting! I would strongly suggest taking your hard earned cash somewhere else.

Green Lake Village is our first home together, and no home could have started our marriage off better! We love Read More living here for many reasons! The location is perfect for us; it is an easy run around the lake, close to our favorite coffee shop, frozen yogurt, grocery shopping, crossfit, yoga, and a quick bus ride to downtown (we are carless!). The staff is responsive, knows us by name, helpful, prompt, and the kind of people who make you feel at home and you want to be friend with! Our apartment is bright, open, cheerful, well maintained, and full of awesome neighbors! These are just a few of the reasons we love Green Lake Village life! - Chris and Holly DeMond

Everyone working at the building is super nice, but it seems they are much restrained by some unfortunate cons Read Moretraints from the managing company. The building itself seems to have structural issues, i.e. getting ridiculously hot during the summer, even when it's not that hot outside.
