Shopping in South Lake Union ranges from furniture to fine art. If you’re looking for a new pair of socks or a tub of ice cream, you may need to wander farther afield.
For a taste of nature, Lake Union Park has a model boat pond, trails, and historic vessels on display. Denny Park on the edge of Downtown is also a good place to picnic.
