I was looking for a great old historic building near the center of the city. The Roosevelt met that desire... Read More.it is charming and just what I wanted! I opted for a parking spot in the underground garage. I would recommend this...otherwise you are left looking for something on the street...good luck!

Ideally located on the south edge of downtown in the Hospital District at the foot of Pioneer Park, the Roosev Read Moreelt is surprisingly quiet and comfortable. A good value, too, given the architecture and old-school charm the building radiates.

I loved my apt at Roosevelt. One of the reasons why I initially thought Roosevelt was so great was the old sch Read Moreool elevators. However, I came to despise these elevators because it was so hard to bring in groceries, move in and out with these elevators (the elevators each had two doors. you had to pull one door, then slide the next. you always had to have a least one free hand. you could never bring in two handfuls of groceries etc without having to set all the groceries down on the ground).

If you love historic architecture, huge Roosevelt is a dream. Our apartment had beautiful city views, lots and Read More lots of storage and rent was very reasonable. The proximity to downtown was awesome and it meant we had a really short commute. I always felt very safe in the building, though I would recommend paying the extra for a garage spot as our car was broken into once, common spaces could use new carpet but we had a great time there. The management was always very prompt about fixes.
