Had a few issues over the year I lived there. There was a large delay on maintenance, but that was mostly rem Read Moreedied when the building management was changed. Everything was sorted before I moved out.

Very slow maintenance response. We waited as long as three weeks for simple repairs. We were charged for thing Read Mores like not cleaning out the AC Filter at checkout. It was not possible to walk in the grass without stepping in canine feces. The walls and floors are not well sound-proofed. Loud music and screaming babies were common occurrences. When we moved in their were animal urine stays on the carpet and the linoleum floors were very stained.

Management switched during my tenancy. Upon vacating, I did not get very good service. The manager claimed t Read Morehere was no check-in/check out form (the one where I indicated what was wrong with the apartment upon moving in) in my name so I ended up getting charged for things that I was originally told were okay.

Good area for jogging/walking, good maintenance and landlord, decent price. One complaint is no shared entranc Read Moree halls, thus making it feel a bit less secure, making it easier for pests to get in, and making my girlfriend and I worry a little bit when we adopted a new cat that she might be able to slip out and run away. You're far away from everything, but that can be good and bad. Nearby Hawks Ridge has recreational stuff, Gateway does not. Units run very hot so free heat doesn't mean much.
