When my hudbands work transferred to Gilbert from the East coast we specifically chose this property because of its beauty and elegancefrom the outside looking in its a stunning complex. That was in 2017. There are endless internal problems here now that makes the property unattractive. The managers are super nice and polite but they also seem disconnected somehow...Only here playing the roles but dont like putting in any elbow grease. Always telling us theyre on top of it but the same problems persist. Everything seems an uphill battle, from changing out the air filter (cannot easily be done and requires a work order), to dialing in visitors at the gate to getting the office personnel to return a simple call is very hard. Grills were out nearly all last summer while they were ordering parts. I can hear everything my next door neighbors are doing, from using the bathroom to arguing to other things I care not to hear. I dont think this apartment complex was built using the strongest materials. Weve read several reviews about this complex and I want to give my two cents worth on some of the tenants complaining about purported stomping from above. We had the same problem at first. My husband and I have since befriended the tenants who live above us and we came to learn they really arent stomping at all; theyre simply walking in their unit normally. At any rate, the true problem is that the building is just so poorly constructed that normal walking, plus the echoes of the wood flooring intensify sound and really does sound like hooves. A lot of reviewers seem unaware of what apartment living entails, its shared space. I was also dismayed to find this property listed on Airbnb... it was disappointing and that really chips away at my feeling of a home when this is a partial hotel. Strangers constantly coming and going, its hard to build a community this way. Whats the real goal here? Money or resident care?

I have lived at Red Stone at San Tan for almost ten months. My lease is coming up, but I did not renew it for many reasons. I did have to give 60 days notice. I will say that the kitchen in the apartment is very nice and is large in size. The reason I dislike living here is that it is extremely noisy. I can hear my neighbor above me stomping through his apartment. His garage is below me and his sports car is not only loud, but makes my whole apartment vibrate. I notified the leasing office about the noise, but nothing improved. Most of the office staff are pleasant, expect for one person who is "fake friendly". She passed me once while I was outside. She turned all the way around to look at me and didn't say hello or anything. Nice. Also this place is expensive.
