I never write reviews, but I really do not want anyone to go through what I have with this complex. Management Read More does not handle issues. This has been my biggest issue. There are bugs and rat traps everywhere. Rats have been living in the engine of my car and chewing on the wires. Management just puts out more traps. AC does not work properly and needs to be looked at by maintenance twice a month. This also leads to extremely high electric bills from hot air pumping out of the unit. There was a flood in my apartment and emergency maintenance did not come until almost 10 hours after I had called regarding the 3-4 inches of water throughout my apartment and all they did was replace the pipe. There was no follow up from anyone. I was left to remove the water myself. There was also damage to the unit below mine that wasn't fixed for several days. There is a drug problem that management pretends does not exist. In addition, do not bother reaching out to the manager. She will dodge your phone calls, office visits, and emails like the plague. I tried to break my lease without being charged the move out fee and the manager failed to make it happen despite everything listed. After reaching out multiple times regarding apartment issues (with no response at all from the manager), the complex attorney emailed me and told me to discuss any additional issues with him. The manager is incapable of handling any issues and will not respond to residents. My move out date cannot come soon enough. I have attached images of the flood, rat traps, and constant garbage of others that becomes a part of where you live. Do not let the beautiful surroundings fool you. This complex is far from luxurious.

One thing that I have found is when I put in a work order it doesn't get worked on for at least 4-5 days and w Read Morehen I have tried to add a problem and have asked to be on the same work order so that they're only in my house once and so that everything is fixed at one time which I would think would save maintenance a lot of time to just take care of things once.

I personally had no issue with Pointe at South Mountain after the initial move in. Upon moving I had two repai Read Morers that needed made: a broken oven door and thermostat. It took 2 weeks after i made my request for the jobs to be complete. However, after that they were very punctual when it came to addressing needs.
