The apartment staff are the nosiest I've ever encountered over 40 years of apartment renting. Every month they Read More come up with a new reason to enter your unit. This month we must endure mandatory patio and balcony inspections, where they will be assessing charges for furniture they don't approve of

Uncourteous Leasing office. Everything takes it own sweet time
1) The staff here are very rude and Uncourte Read Moreous and they are not at all transperent.
2)They keep changing the terms as and when they wish.
3)Even for a new resident, its very hard to reach the office by phone.
4)The staff takes on an average of 7 -10 days to respond to an email.
5) Even after Multiple security incidents with in the community, No step has been taken by the office. They are busy rennovating apratments, swimming pools and gyms.
6) From the time they have taken over from another Property management comapany, they always say we have 300 back log orders. Any maitenance order takes a atleast 4 days to respond. If my AC were to be leaking, i will have to wait for 4 days for somebody to come and fix it. Pathetic!!

Future Renters - please be advised to see the recent reviews before you decide to move in here!
San Val Read Moreiente Apartments currently is Mark Taylor's management property. This is a beautiful community with well maintained swimming pool, lot of trees, kid friendly recreational areas (like slide park, etc..), surrounded by walking and jogging track. This also USED to be a very safe place, but not seems to be anymore.
I am living in this community for about 2 years now. That being said, I have seen Laramar managing and maintaining the community before Mark Taylor took over in mid 2016.
Every other day, since the start of this new year 2017, I keep on hearing about several thefts happening in the community, fights between a group of people during the nights, damages to vehicles during those fights, etc. What this trickles down to is Safety and Security. There were several attempts made informing about these incidents to the designated in the leasing office by number of people in the community. The surprising response from them was to call 911 in case of emergency. Thanks to them for letting us know about the 911 service.
Not to compare Mark Taylor with the previous management, but, Laramar used to have two patrolling security officers in the community and never noticed any of the above issues mentioned. I personally witnessed a couple of unidentified people jumping over the backside of this community from the motel adjacent.
Also, I noticed longer delays with Mark Taylor in responding to maintenance requests. I had to regularly follow up on those. Management and maintenance are two different things to be noted. No negative thing to comment on the maintenance team - they are friendly, seem to be experts in what they do. Though there are several other issues, SAFETY and SECURITY has become a BIG concern these days and I am not happy.
The one star is dedicated to the friendly maintenance team!
