Omaha’s popular vegan restaurant, Modern Love, has food so good, even your meat-eating date will love it. Its new digs are in Midtown Omaha, but you can expect the same gourmet comfort food from Isa Chandra Moskowitz that you had at the original location.

Head to Au Courant if you’re an adventurous couple, and put your meal in the chef’s hands. The chef’s menu at this Benson restaurant is unexpected but always delicious. For an additional fee, you can have wine paired with the courses.

The Blackstone date night

The Blackstone District is home to several hip restaurants that make a casual but impressive date night destination.

  • A good bet is Stirnella, a gastropub serving creative American and global cuisine. Don’t skip the desserts there.
