    DO NOT live here. I WISH I COULD MOVE. Cant afford it. EVERYTHING is outdated, and when something BREAKS, (which is A LOT), a band-aid is promptly placed on it(until it finally COLLAPSES!) THEN they SAY theyre giving you a Brand NEW (whatever) and even THAT is from 1990/// and ALSO breaks. I have had something go wrong or break just about every other MONTH here, and I am THE BAD GUY (as I read in another review-! Happy to see Im not the only one!) This place makes u pay ALL UTILITIES (makes me *O F T E N WONDER WTH AM I PAYING FOR HERE?!!) Just to live in this BOX that is crumbling in disrepair as I live & breathe....and when you merely ASK for help on an issue, its as if youve ASKED THE WORLD of them and owe them your LIFE (if they DO indeed (listen & ASSESS it PROPERLY) -& bring in ANOTHER/ LESS crappy! appliance or OTHER textile replacement of ANY kind. I live in a unit with a TON OF NOISE too- (easy fix?) NEW WINDOWS right? (***Since THESE have not been TOUCHED in over 25-YEARS!!! - they havent renovated or replaced a SINGLE WINDOW since the place was BUILT(!)2000-ish?? Idk. I THINK EARLIER.) My unit is FALLING APART yet they do NOTHING to resolve this issue. I am trying to get in touch w/ the actual OWNER of this complex just to see if he even KNOWS of the horrendous SLUMLORD-treatment indeed happening here 24-7. -Like how maintenance are TOLD to cut corners and DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER to AVOID REPLACING ANYTHING. ! I wish I was joking.(as if it comes out of THEIR paythis is how they treat these issues.) I could say SOOOO much more. But If I can save ANYone from this existence then Ive done a good thing here. If anything, THE AVENTINE DESERVES THIS REVIEW (& needs MORE tenants speaking THEIR TRUTH), so more people KNOW the hard cold truth of this place. Maybe THEN things will CHANGE ??? I am waiting...

    This is one special apt/home to live!! The Aventine apartment is not just nice, clean, safe and with really good floor plans and storage units but the office people and maintenance really ROCK! I got divorced a year ago and first living on my own with my 3 girls. Martha held my hand through the leasing process a year ago with The Aventine - t's been one AMAZING, HAPPY and EASY year here and I am now moving to a bigger apt with pool view!! Thank you The AVENTINE team for making my already amazing SoCal living experience even more delightful!

    This property was very deceiving since it looked great, but not when you actually live there. The beautiful grassy area was just used as a pet bathroom. People left their garbage on their doorstep area since they were too lazy to take it to the dumpster. That attracted wild animals that would strew garbage all over and defecate on the walkways. None of these issues were addressed. Teens ran amuck using foul language and using the dog waste bags as water balloons to throw at cars in the lot

    Everything was fine except for the Parking & the Street noise - we had one garage + 1 additional space but there were often not enough spaces close by so you had to walk a long way - we had a unit on the road and there was more traffic than we expected

    I upgraded from one bed to two bed, and they charged for the one day that overlapped. I explained it to the accountant but she said there's no exception, period. There were some bug issues at the time of move-in, but the manager did not want to talk to me. I tried couple more times, then finally got a legal advise and wrote a letter. Also, they charged extra $300 on top of $400 deposit on the one bed that I lived in, saying that it was "dirty". This has never EVER happened to me before.

    Liked apartment layout, well maintained complex. Noise restrictions were not enforced. I was made to feel like I was the "bad one" for complaining about neighbors that were consistently loud outside of their apartment after 11pm. Became unpleasant to live there because of this issue.
