    There were so many downsides during the 13 months of my residence, I dont even know where to start. When I first started living here, I waited 2 weeks for the remote control to the gate to park my car. For 2 weeks I went to the office every day and said that I was coming after work and I had to drive 20 minutes and look for a place. Only after I called the central office, they gave me the remote control. When I entered the apartment where I was supposed to live, it was very dirty and there was a very unpleasant smell in the room. Only after 3-4 months of daily cleaning, did it stop smelling so bad. The sewer was clogged, the faucet in the kitchen was broken and the pipe was leaking. I reported this, but within 2 weeks no one fixed it. And I went myself to The Home Depo and bought tools and chemicals for pipes, and fixed everything myself. The ceiling in the parking lot leaked because a pipe burst, I reported it to the service center. Everything was leaking onto my car. But they didnt fix the problem, they just covered it up with putty. A few days later it all fell onto the hood of my car. After the ceiling collapsed onto my car, they came and fixed the water leak. But no one repaired the ceiling for another 2-3 months, and pieces of putty were constantly falling from the ceiling. I took a cardboard box and somehow covered the hole so that it wouldnt all fall onto my car. Also, when I drove in, the lock on the mailbox was broken, I waited about a month for them to replace the lock. When I came to the office, the employees were always busy with something and told me to come back later. What upset me even more and I do not advise anyone to live in this place is that I made a deposit of $ 2000, and they returned me only $ 1100. Although I left everything in better condition than it was originally when I moved in. I have all the photos , I can easily prove everything listed above that I said. Better look at other housing options.

    They're part of Avalon Bay big corp apartments chain, and raise rent like crazy! Approximately 200$ annually. So, be ready. Apartments are very very basic, small pool, AC is only in a living room, so, it gets really hot during LA summer, especially if you on a top floor. And for that you pay 2500$ (2/1,5 ba)... For my rent renewal they want 2700$. Compare with AVA Studio City with huge pool, jacuzzi, 2 levels gym, superb BBQ area, fire pit, central AC and heat... same price for 2 bedroom. Buildings are very old, and things break like crazy, especially water pipes. They're leaking on the driveways, and I notice little flowers started to grow through concrete where water drips from the buildings :-) I reported leaking pipes many times to the maintenance. They come, patch it, and month later it start leaking again, so I gave up. They try very hard to keep grounds clean though - vacuum leaves and driveways, clean tables by the pool, BBQ grills are always clean, and pools, too. But it's way overpriced. Also, if you're on the first floor, and you have noisy neighbors upstairs, tough luck - office wouldn't help you no matter how many times you complain, record their screams and parties in the middle of the night, and call the security. We suffered for a whole year, and office kept saying that nobody else heard them (well, duh, because they're directly above us.. I can't hear my neighbors next door), and when security comes they're quiet and they don't open the door, lol, who would. I wouldn't open either... Anyways, I'm moving out this year, there are lot of other much cheaper options around the area

    Office staff were extremely helpful and friendly making our move from one building to another very smoothe and easy. The maintenance crew is always working hard to keep the grounds and pool area looking its best and were very helpful during the move.

    This is an exellent place to live. Great lication , clean, attentive staff. I'm just so satisfied here. Can't tell you how happy I am.

    I've only lived here for about a week, but I really like the apartment. It's very clean, and I really like having a washer/dryer in the unit. I'm also glad I can bring my cat to live here too, and hopefully get a second cat.
