Newport Village has very nice grounds. It is located close to the freeway. The staff are pleasant and respond to maintenance needs.

I constantly had leaks every time that it rain. I only lived there for two years. I couldn't take the water leaks any longer and moved to a better nicer area and apartment. It was a fair place to live. While I lived there the "gym" was horrible the machines were always broken and they only had three machines total. That is not a gym. A lot of young people lived there and noise was sometimes an issue. If you have more than one car parking is a big issue.

Although there were some issues with the room availability after signing a contract, the management staff did the best to secure the room we wanted after all. The property was some what old and squeaky, but the location was very convenient for us. Our room had the great parking spot, which made a huge impact on our decision. (But it varies greatly depends on which room you rent.) The maintenance was prompt when needed. Over all, I enjoyed the residency at Newport Village Apartment.

Building was poor quality. Lacked basic amenities. Smoke from downstairs neighbor and/or previous resident permeated whole apartment. Complex housed multiple Penal Code 290 registrants.

At Newport Village our apartments are spacious; the huge walk in closets have room to spare. The management goes out of its way to keep everything in impeccable condition and are there to assist when needed. It's a great place to meet new friends because our residents are dynamic and special people, all carefully screened by management before they move in.
