Rose Pointe Apartments

It is a quiet apartment community that is well kept. The management and maintenance staff are excellent. They are always helpful and quick to respond when we need something fixed.

I lived at Rose Pointe for 2 years but had to move because of YEARLY rent increase without cause.ADVISE: If you are willing to pay rent increase EVERY YEAR, then this is a place for you (read the Pros). But if you are not ready to pay a yearly rent increase, then I don't recommend it. because moving is hard as it is. It doesn't matter how good of a tenant you are. Pros: 1. Overall, fairly quiet community 2. Have occasional community events 3. Free cookies and coffee in the club house every morning 4. Lawns are maintained 5. Fully staffed and friendly. There is always someone in the office. 6. Location is great! Near restaurants, shops. 7. Gym, sauna, pool/spa, beach volleyball, tennis court, bbqCons: 1. EXTREMELY HIGH TURN OVER RATE due to annual rent increase - Doesn't really care about retaining tenants. Average of $80-$100 increase yearly without really any changes on your unit. Reason: they want to be competitive with NEW apartments in the area which isn't really comparable. 2. Parking - they do have ample parking spots in the area but still a lot of illegally parked cars at night so good luck on finding one.3. Security - they have a back gate near Harbor. Often, the gate is left open so anyone can just drive through it. There are homeless people going through trash every morning, and roaming through the community. No control on who can go through the gates. 4. Speeding - watch out where you walk as there are some cars speeding through the community. 5. Rowdy young neighbors - saw cops in the area a few times. 6. People smoking

Staff are friendly and efficient. Maintenance issues are dealt with promptly. Good location.

Have always loved this complex. Had a friend who lived here in past years and this was the first place I came to look at when I needed a new place to live. The management/staff provide various activities throughout the calendar year for all ages from haunted houses to dancing and movie night by the pool. The maintenance staff attend to requests for service in a prompt or timely manner. It is quiet and the grounds are excellently maintained. Would recommend it to everyone and have.

Rose Pointe is a place I can raise my daughter, I am a single mom and never had issues with parking or being afraid at night. The grounds are clean and safe and this is a biggy for me.
