Overview of Hollywood

Exclusive clubs, world-renowned restaurants, hip haunts and endless shopping all cater to the celebrity presence in this famous California city.

Apartments in Hollywood

Hollywood hit its stride during the golden age of cinema in the 1920s and '30s, and its architecture often reflects the Art Deco influence of this period with geometric lines and abstract motifs. Whether house hunters are searching for a modern apartment or historic gem, they're sure to find housing to suit their needs. Taking a cue from the greater Los Angeles area, most apartments offer characteristic Art Deco styling, pretty landscaping that incorporates palm trees and bougainvillea, and perks like swimming pools or workout facilities. The famous Hollywood and Sunset boulevards comprise the main arteries of the city; Hollywood is a very walkable area although many prefer driving or taking buses or taxis.

Tourist attractions abound in Hollywood, from the Hollywood Walk of Fame to TCL Chinese Theatre. In addition, the area between Vine Street and Highland Avenue, known as the Yucca Corridor, provides easy access to restaurants, shopping and attractions in the heart of the city. Los Feliz, slightly northeast of Hollywood, is another nearby community that provides ample walking area and excellent access to the subway system.
