The Residences at Bella Terra

On our initial move-in inspection, we noted clearly that there was a notable dent in the floor when entering the bathroom. Before we moved out, They sent their maintenance staff to do a move-out inspection before we left and I specifically asked that my fianc and myself be present so we can explain any damages or if he had any questions. He walked around the empty unit for 30 seconds and told us the normal charges for cleaning and maintenance would be sent to us. Once we were on the other side of the country during our move, they hit us with a $1,557 total move out charge!! They sent over photos justifying the charges and included the photos of the aforementioned dent in the floor by the bathroom (picture attached) as justification for a $610 floor repair charge. We were justifiably upset and asked for clarification, and the UDR billing staff initially emailed us back (picture attached) saying that they did not see anything was noted with regards to the condition of the unit when we moved in. We then sent back our move-in inspection (picture attached) which clearly stated that the floor was damaged at move-in, and they responded by saying that it said that paint was on the floor and not dents or scratches (picture attached). Since we pointed out this absurd behavior on their part, they have completely stopped responding to our emails and are impossible to reach by phone. They have threatened to send the whole amount to collections and refuse to get on the phone with us to have a productive discussion. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO LIVE!!Over charge for last 2 months my usual rent is $3300 have to pay $4600 last month and $4000 month before. Place is good looking but is horrible quality everything falls apart and breaks. My air condition system hast worked only once since living here they attempted to fix it about 20 times unsuccessfully. I live in the 3 bedroom "penthouse" and hate everything about this place. Since living here been nothing but terrible service been locked out of my apartment over 12 times because a bad key sensor. They try charging $200 to let you in every time. If 0 stars was available i would be giving it nothing. I really do not enjoy anything about this place. parking is terrible, garage breaks every other day, everything falls apart, service is terrible, security sucks people been getting cars broken into, this place is not worth the money at all. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE RESIDENCE AT BELLA TERRA WILL MAKE SURE ANYONE WANTING TO LIVE HERE KNOWS HOW TERRIBLE THIS PLACE REALLY IS!!!

I love living at Bella terra! The staff is amazing and the overall environment is so beautiful and peaceful. Love the walking aspect. Everything is so close and convenient ! Best decision I've made to be a part of the residences! Thank u

It is great living here. If you don't have a car, not to worry. You can pretty much walk to every place of service you may need. You are probably thinking, that great uh? Well, if you don't belief me, just stop by and take the tour. I love seeing newbies taking the tour (with pleasing smiles on their faces). Bring a cup, no charge for Starbucks Coffee located in our computer/WiFi room, just to name a couple of amenities. Come on by and check us out.
