Overview of La Mirada
Known for its cultural living, La Mirada, Calif., is the home of many of the area's unique local attractions. The city was founded by Andrew McNally, a Chicago-based printer and mapmaker, and his son-in-law Edwin Neff in 1888 after McNally purchased more than 2,000 acres to plant olive, orange and lemon groves, which he shipped throughout the United States. Over the years, the city went through many changes, but has become the focus of several discussions at the annual California State Fair for its efforts in maintaining the community and planning for the future.
Finding La Mirada apartments for rent shouldn't be too hard for those looking to move into the unique community. The location is perfect for anyone interested in living between Orange and Los Angeles counties, while not feeling as though they are in the city.
