I felt safe there and the apartment was very cozy, but just didn't like the smell of the exterior hallways!

The rent was too high and went up yearly at too high of a rate. Area needs rent control. Heritage offers a g Read Morereat move in deal but then jacks rent up so high you can't afford it. They just assume that rather than the inconvenience of moving a senior will stay. Most I knew moved out along with me. Most srs. live on limited budgets and cannot afford large rent raises. They moved in because it was affordable - but then a large raise in rent is not possible to pay.
