The Heights

This place looks great in the listing, but be warned DO NOT rent here. The management does absolutely nothing to fix the issues inside of the units (roaches, leaking pipes, water/mold damage) but continues to pay for unnecessary 'upgrades' such as putting spackle on the floors or purchasing branded doormats. While the previous manager Teresa was not great, the new woman they replaced her with Carmen is even worse. She will not reply to messages and when she does it is extremely broken English and she will only reply by saying 'thats bad' to any of your issues but will not offer solutions. There is only one handyman on site, who is quite nice, but you can tell he is terribly overworked so they will mark off maintenance requests without doing any work. Absolutely absurd they keep raising rent for no return for the tenants.

This property is mismanaged and you can tell they only want the money but don't fix anything, the property is always dirty, every day we get a text message from management that something is either broke or the tenants have to do or be aware of. I am already getting prepared for the rent increase, since they are now slapping some paint on the cracking floors and rusty railings. There are roaches and flies in the building and only one handyman that has been there for ever. We have lived there for so long , we started with a rent of 1100$ and now we pay more then twice as much with little to no upgrade. Every parking spot , every storage space cost extra. Pool when used you have to make sure to be incredibly quite and "dry" or you get a text message warning you that the pool will be closed during the week, like that makes people comply?! Just overall not worth the money.

There are always roaches. Ive lived here since August and have had to call for pest control almost every other month. I clean constantly and there are always roaches. This has been brought to the attention of management but all they say is keep calling for fumigations instead of fixing the issue. They recently changed management and are doing renovations and repainting things but wont fix the ROACH INFESTATION. Will be moving after lease ends.

Do not ever move here, look around the area. Although the area is nicer, and close to Belmont shore, look other places. No privacy at all, the apartment complex is always really dirty. The manager lives at the complex and does nothing to support the complex or residents. She had zero professionalism, and does not know how to manage a apartment complex. Nady the owner is amazing, Alhamdulla , but unfortunately you wont have much contact with him since he hired somebody for that. Wish he would find a better fit person for this job. Manager walks around half naked with a cocky attitude. Very loud all around, dirty pool. nice gym. grilling area is ALWAYS disgusting and dirty. Washer and dryer is in the underground parking area, you will have to walk far just to do laundry and the washer/dryers are always dirty or broken. My car was broken into while parking on the street for a few hours. Rent is overpriced for this place. Also garage door is always broken, made me 45 mins late to work one morning.

I leave a bad review because after advertising several vacancies, I called several times leaving my phone and message but they never called me back.
