Today, the city has been growing due to many new housing developments and its easy driving distance to everything L.A. has to offer. According to the census, Pico Rivera is home to more than 63,000 residents, based on 2011 estimates. With many of the city's facilities and roads being recently improved, those number are only expected to grow, bringing in even more residents to this fantastic town.

Pico Rivera has seen a recent surge of commercial development, making it a new shopping destination in the L.A. area. However, the city is probably best known for its more than 120 acres of recreational space that are available to its residents.
