The apartment was infested with cockroaches when we moved in and had cockroaches when we moved out. The unit above was so infested, that on the day we left, 2 pest control agents were spraying the unit. The deposit was initially not returned with bogus charges to our account, including for pest control, painting, and floor side boards. The apartments are painted every time the tenant leaves but the painting is taken out of the security deposit. The manager posted a negative mark on the rental report claiming the rent was "late" which is due on the 1st with a 3-day grace period before you are "late." The manager failed to check her desk drawer for the Money Order for our rent, which was on time, and jumped to ensure that a negative mark was posted, which was never removed despite contacting Cannon Management. There were often loud, screaming verbal arguments, including one late at night in front of my apartment door. Would not recommend. I negotiated only a partial refund of the deposit. Trash was often overflowing in the bins and aggressive dogs from the neighbor would jump so high that I was afraid they would jump over the fence when I took out the trash.
