If you are on a tight budget and don't mind unprofessional staff, horrible conditions of the unit, and very noisy neighbors, stay away. I have never been interrupted and lied to like the Coral Bay leasing staff! Its cheap if you don't add on a parking pass, garage (recommended, units are cramped and poorly planned and not up to code) or pets. I have NEVER had any problems with any apartments in San Diego. Coral Bay is a whole new level of crazy. The staff are never on the same page and lie all the time. Parking is so difficult after 4pm even with a parking pass. My shower always leaked, toilet ran, heater never really turned off, and the apartment has intense condensation on the windows in the winter to the point that it puddles on the carpet. The units are noticeably hotter inside in the summer. The playground area for kids was just an empty area with mulch. Neighbors are loud, disrespectful which isn't helped by how the noise travels through the thin walls. You can hear pretty much everything that happens outside even with the windows closed. The only good thing about this place was the location and the gas stove. If you can stay away, please do and save yourself from a horrible experience.

Jessica was so helpful, and maintenance is very responsive. I am home by 6:30pm and I find plenty of parking by my unit. You can hear your neighbors below you, but a white noise maker or fan blocks that. Overall, this is the best property I've rented in years, and I'm very pleased with my choice.

This place is horrific !!! I have a neighbor that complains about me making too much noise when I am barely ever home!! The walls are so thin and floors. I can hear everything he says so I guess he hears me too. He calls security often . And no reports back to the leasing office that they heard nothing ! I am being harassed by these on going complaints when I am not breaking any rules !! I wrote to residential services to let me out of the lease to ease the situation for him and I . They declined . Im stuck here or pay $1500. I dont have that kind of money to throw out when Im being harassed over all these Complaints !!! Ive heard this has happened to other people .

Refrigerator was above 40 degrees, had to throw first purchased food upon moving in (management did not reimburse) , heating system does not heat the bedroom, expensive additional sdge/ extra utilities, and you receive a parking sticker but if you get home after 4 pm, likely you are searching for street parking.
