My husband and I have been living here for 8 months now and our overall experience has been great. Everything in our apartment was new when we moved in and the only thing that has ever needed maintenance was the bathroom fan. They are very fast in responding to any needs or maintenance issues. The complex is quiet and beautifully surrounded by trees and the rec room, pool, and landscaping are always well kept. Cons you can hear the train sometimes but you get used to it.

My apartment was gorgeous! The grounds are lush and green, the neighbors are nice, you get your own parking spot, and the management is wonderful and attentive. Can't ask for anything better!

Loudest place I have ever lived. If you work from home, work nights and sleep during the day, or are noise sensitive for what ever reason avoid this complex. While the grounds are beautiful, the landscapers use gas leaf blowers for 4+ hours a day, at least three days a week. When they aren't leaf blowing, they are hedge trimming or power washing something. Have a business call during the day? I had to hide in our walk-in closet to hear properly. There is no guaranteed quiet day or time. Windows are old, so they rattle when the trains go by. Screens don't fit well, either. They do tree trimming in the spring, which is unfortunate because many birds are nesting during this time of the year. I wish they would have been more aware and compassionate of this. Also, this place has a LOT of roaches. I would imagine that's natural because of the landscaping, but be aware. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds are absolutely beautiful. The pool areas are great! FYI most of the reviews are fake.

These reviews are fake. Just look at the dates on them. I find it amazing that on july 31st, there was 10 or more reviews on that date alone. Highly unlikely in my opinion. I lived there for 2 1/2 years and was pretty satisfied, but lets face it....no place is perfect.

Love living here because of the amazing landscaping and natural feel--it's relaxing and peaceful. Would have rated it higher if the apartments had a few upgrades which other comparable apartments typically have--specifically, new windows (these rattle all the time and the screens don't actually fit) and nicer countertops (these look cheap and wear out really easily). Also, the rent has been getting higher at a really quick pace, and is going to price us out if it keeps this up.

Lived here for a while and I honestly hate it compared to my old apartment when this was supposed to be an upgrade with the amount of rent is. #1 windows and walls are basically for decoration as you can hear EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING. I can hear people’s conversations in the passage way outside my door, my upstair neighbors FOOTSTEPS when it’s obviously not done on purpose or even loud as I have always lived downstairs, I can hear the construction workers from 8 or 9 am cutting wood or talking which obviously isn’t their fault either it’s just these old building which have never gotten updated. Even just the windows being remodeled would’ve been great as at night I can feel the cold air going through the gaps even if the window is completely closed and patio doors have gaps along the walls which makes insects get inside easily and it’s not even summer yet I’ve found too many. And when I contacted management which Patrick is honestly the nicest manager ever unfortunately can’t help this situation as once again these are old buildings so there’s not much they can do. Not to mention that the windows literally shake and rattle when the train passes by it always feels like an earthquake. #2 Parking is HORRIBLE. We have 2 cars but were only given one stable parking the other car you have to find open parking which depending on the time of year run out fast, after 6pm it gets hard finding parking so it ruins any and all plans you could have not to mention no guest parking either. #3 all the cabinets and slide doors have been painted over multiple and I mean multiple times and so when you open them they creak so so loud and hard to fully open or close. This also makes sliding doors for my bathrooms hard to open and close. These are my three biggest reasons why I will move once I can as honestly it’s ridiculous how much rent is for old buildings that have never been remodeled and only one stable parking regardless of how many rooms you are renting not to mention the sketchy people at night as once I encountered a random drunk man walking on the roof of parkings screaming when this is supposed to be a gated and safe place. The only upsides is the aesthetic of the place and when it rains it sounds soothing. I will also add on that the cabin is a nice plus and have even seen families celebrating birthdays there which was so wholesome and even got offered food when I didn’t even know them. Plus the small gym is a nice plus nothing too crazy but nice enough to do it’s job plus the pool tables and pool and jacuzzi as well. The laundry’s in the cabin are nice and it’s ventilated so it’s never hot in there plus there are so many available making washing easy as you won’t have to wait and do turns with other residents since there’s so many. The freeways being so close also makes life easier as you won’t have to drive through many streets to get on or off making getting to work on time so much easier. However the truth of it all is that the three downsides are so much heavier than the upsides as their basics you would have thought you had but don’t as having an apartment first and foremost needs privacy which isn’t possible due to the thin walls and basically nonexistent windows and not even the right to two parkings because you rent a two bedroom apartment. It’s just crazy to me how I hadn’t noticed/overlooked or thought it would be okay as I had been led to believe so, yet it’s awful so if this helps any future people looking into these apartments I would pass and keep looking as the aesthetic and cabin isn’t worth anything if the apartment itself is horrible.

Throughout my almost 2 years of living there I’ve had a few major issues. The apartment landscaping is very beautiful but it attracted wild raccoons and possums. I was afraid to be out at night. This prevented me from doing laundry and taking my dog out at night and I’ve worked my schedule around to not come home late. The second issue is the moisture from the environment attracted bugs (earwigs). I’ve found dead one throughout my apartment, inside my clean pots/pans and in my bed. I just didn’t feel comfortable living there. They’ve came to spray a few times but the problem was never fixed. Lastly is there is really no guest parking. The only positive is the amenities (pool, hot tub & gym) and Patrick, one of the landlords, is extremely nice!

Liked living here the leasing managers Patrick and Adam were great. They always helped when I needed help. However my car broke into on the property and with how much the apartment cost I would hope for a little bit of security in the parking lot.

Me and my girlfriend were excited when we saw these apartments and scheduled a tour to get a feel for these very aesthetic looking apartments because was looking into moving out within the next 2 months and had scheduled a tour online. However, when we had made our way all the way there we were greeted by a worker in the leasing office there by the name of Patrick who seemed nice at first. When we let him know we had scheduled online for a tour he seemed baffled. I was a bit frustrated because he did not seem to take us seriously as we are a young and our move in date he stated was “too far” to tour the apartments, which is a lie as we have been in search of our home the last month and have only been told, yes what might come up is that they may not have the exact unit as it would probably be off the market in the 2 months and they wouldn’t be able to hold it until 1 month from move in date. However we still wanted to look at the floor plans and explore the Aspens FairHaven to see if it could be our future home. Now however after being disrespected and discriminated as we were not given a tour and pushed away because of our age we definitely will NOT keep Aspens FairHaven in mind never had met such a rude and lazy tour guide as Patrick who discriminated us because maybe we did not look of age but he definitely could have AT LEAST ASKED FOR MY ID which would have showed him we were of age. Mind you we've toured about 12 apartments in the last month and we’ve had no problem with apartments with our move in day being about 2 months away. So do not choose Aspens FairHaven as a place of residence as they do not respect nor take serious new and young residents looking to find a home.
