Parking here is ABSOLUTELY horrid! Tonight makes the 7th night in a row where I have had to pray that I would Read Morefind parking. FYI: most of the parking on my end of the complex is parallel parking.On 1/25/2018, I drove around my complex for OVER TWO HOURS looking for parking. The next day I spoke with a leasing office rep about my terrible experience, and she told me that they were aware of the parking situation and that they needed a few weeks to fix it. She told me that the tenants could call the towing company to remove unauthorized vehicles. I asked her if there was enough parking on the premises for every unit, and she said yes. She told me I could rent a carport or a garage for guaranteed parking at an additional fee on top of my already high rent. Then she sent me on my way with an apology and a smile, as those two things make everything alright.On 1/28/18, I was actually hesitant to do some grocery shopping post work because I was nervous about no parking. My woes were just: 30 minutes later I found a spot in front of the leasing office then proceeded to lug my groceries ACROSS the complex. At this time, I decided to humor leasing rep and I checked EVERY-SINGLE-VEHICLE on my way to my building for parking permits and they all had one. Tonight, I returned to the complex at around 1:20 AM, and I didn't find a spot until over an hour and a half later. After the first 10 minutes of searching, I called the towing company. They shared with me that the terms of their contract with Canyons had been updated yesterday (so 1/30/18) to allow them to only immediately come out to tow a vehicle is for one of three reasons: a vehicle parked in the fire lane, a vehicle parked illegally in a handicap space, or a vehicle that is parked in front of the callers designated space. I was yet again without assistance, I seriously debated on parking somewhere I probably shouldn't, and just sleep in my car until the morning.
