When it's time for excitement, you won't need to drive far. The Lone Tree Arts Commission and Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra bring a number of cultural experiences to the area. Those with kids will be happy to know that the city has great parks, a bike-friendly culture and plenty of walking trails.
If you don't mind driving just a bit, though, The Denver Zoo, Wild Life Experience and Denver Botanic Garden are just a few minutes up the road.
Most apartment renters in town do own cars, but Lone Tree has a strong public transportation system. RTD, or Regional Transportation District, runs both bus and light rails in the area. Most people, however, use these systems to make their way to Denver. Either way, thanks to this abundance of public transportation options, it's easy to get from your neighborhood to work, entertainment or shopping.

A University of Phoenix campus is tucked right in the city while American Sentinel University and Colorado Christian University sit about 15 minutes north.
