I have lived at Jefferson Arms for the past 2 years. The complex is affordable and a great option for a young professional. While the building is a bit out-dated, the units themselves are very nice. The area is also safe and it's centrally located to a variety of restaurants, banks, convenience stores, etc. - all within walking distance. I have been very happy with my time here and would recommend at least considering it if you are moving to Hamden.

Maintainance is subpar at best. Lift gate is always broken. The screening rules for potential residents seem to have become very loose.

Good neighbors no excessive noise, every week some cleans hallways, stairs an main lobby, leasing staff extremely friendly and helpful
