Woodbury Apartments

When I was apt hunting, this was the only unit shown to me. I was surprised and pleased that it was 2br, 1.5 ba, basement, and h and hw included for $1400. Coming from NYC, one wouldn't pass this up without good cause. My eyes peeled. When the Director and I entered the kitchen from the rear, I noticed a small water puddle and there was some kind of preventive material above the stove I was unfamiliar with, so I asked questions. Is there a leak? Do you have issues w/ flies, rodents? He interrupted me to ask why. I mentioned the material hanging above the stove. He said that was to prevent fires. My guard was down w/ that response and how clean the stove and the fridge was, I couldn't see red flags for a pest infestation. Fast forward to the day of the leasing signage. They have me at the Newfield management office signing paperwork like we did the final walk through without doing the final walk through. BIG RED FLAG. I signed everything but the paper that said we did the walk through and I agree to the terms because I'm going have to do that first. V said everybody signs then looks after. Nah, nope, NOT ME. I head over there. There's no one to walk me through when I arrived but the doors are unlocked. The sec. I walked in the door 2 kinds of cockroaches dead on the floor. I instantly panic because the u-haul, loaders and unloaders booked for the next day and the following day. I continued to look over the apartment and found a dead baby roach in the half bath sink on the main floor and in the kitchen sink. The top floor seemed to be clear of the bugs (oh so it seems). I called V to let her know no one showed up to do the final walk through and that I see dead roaches. V arranged for the PM to meet me and says bring it up w/her. I started recording and then a live baby roach fell from the kitchen cabinet. The PM said they will address it. I asked for a treatment by this Wednesday. No choice, I signed. Bombed before I moved, but moving day found live roach in closet.

This is a senior complex that has had no vacancies for quite a long time. Please none of the Carabetta run senior complexes have openings any where.

Posted availability on every site. After calling and emailing for over a week i finally get in contact with Someone who tells me that they have no availability and they dont update their website because they rent so quickly Waste of time
