I do not recommend this building. On setting up my move, I scheduled a walk through. They show up on the wrong day so we work it out and the agree to come on the day we originally agreed to, which was my move out day since per their rules the apartment has to be empty. No one shows up to the appointment and I get a call 4 hours later saying, were calling to let you know we will not be able to make your appointment today. They then send me a letter stating that they will be taking $278 from the security deposit after they did their own walk through. I get a call 3 weeks later stating I now owe $1,302 , for rent receivable despite the fact that person on the phone acknowledged that I had paid my rent in full. They also took $750 from the security deposit. I question this and she then tells me she cant go into detail because she cant open the ledger. I ask to speak to a manager and she ignores the request. I have emailed the office at Eaves and they stated they only had the initial $278 on file but that they are not accountable for billing. Rent at your own risk- you will really get the run around here.Update: The office is now claiming there is a prorated fee on top of the two months rent I already paid. They did not communicate this when we discussed it in their office before I moved. They are advising they have no responsibility for this and to call a national billing number for Avalon. If they have no responsibility, why are they the ones to discuss fees in the first place?

A small review space isn't appropriate to put into words how great this place is. I've been fortunate in that I have relatively quiet neighbors. My dog is treated with all the love and attention he deserves from the residents and doubly so from the staff. The maintenance guys here are not only extremely nice, but they are also on point. Rarely are there any issues, but if there is one, it's fixed right away. I've never seen one without a smile on his face. The girls that come to clean are great at their job and super sweet. The office staff is AMAZING. I can't properly communicate how great Robyn and Ewa are. I could write a whole review just about them. This is easily the best place I have ever lived (outside of my parents house where food and rent was free). The location is also perfect. It's a 10 minute walk to action, but also 10 minute walk away from the noise. I haven't lived anywhere else in Stamford, but I don't believe there is any better place in town.
