We reached out to many apartments and this was one of few that we actually heard back from. Corzann was very quick and flexible with scheduling our tour and Carmela was so nice and thorough with showing the apartments available. They were also very accommodating with finding an apartment that had everything we liked, in addition, utilities are included in the rent, which is amazing bonus!

Ms. Banister in the leasing office is amazing and so patient and thorough with the leasing process. There were zero questions because she addressed everything up front. She is quick to respond to emails and has made the process seamless. Thank you Ms. Banister!!!

The woodner is a decent place to live. The housekeepers I see in the hallway are genuinely nice and say hi to me. Rasheedah the manager and her team Paul, Juan, and Ferro come through if I tell them I see stuff in the hallway.

Im a current resident who has lived at the Woodner since 1997. And since I lived here Crystal Hanna has been the best. Always polite, willing to help, and she greets you with a smile. She is the best.

The staffs are all accomodating. The place is clean. They always see to it that the place is a place you can call home.

I'm so thankful for Katrina Bannister for helping me move into my new apartment. What a wonderful person with a lovely personality. Thank you very much Katrina

‼️‼️‼️Trust me on this one DO NOT RENT AT THE WOODNER‼️‼️ These people “threw away”(perfect conduction pillow a blanched, a personal handcrafted bag) my personal items just 5 days after the lease ended. The law in DC prohibits that, no message no communication, nothing. When I went back to pick my items, due to unforeseen circumstance I could not picked them up earlier. I received awful treatment and I was threatened to be arrested because I went to my apartment, which was opened to see if my items where there. I WAS COMPLETELY DISRESPECTED AND VIOLATED OF MY TENANT RIGHTS. As soon as you leave th replace you will be treated like garbage the man with the bandana that belongs to security is abusive and he will lie to get your information. His job is to he at the front gate and he thought he had the power to decide to kick me off from the building or threaten me to arrest me if I did not follow. NO INE IN THIS BUILDING COOPERATES NOR HELPS. I WAS CLEARLY AN EXEMPLARY TENTANT, my house was clean, I paid always on time and never cause problems. THIS PEOPLE WILL TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE, it is not the first time that this happened. As soon as I moved in I noticed the people from the front desk eill not help anyone move in, one guard even had the nerve to answer me back disrespectfully. When I left I was the worst experience I felt humiliated as if I had done something wrong WHEN IT IS THIS PEOPLE THST DO JOT LNOW HOW TO TREST HUMAN BEINGS FAIRLY‼️‼️⚠️ TRUST ME DO NOT RENT HERE, if I am making so much noice is because THIS PLACE GOT ME INTO A MOMENT OF UNREST THAT COMPLETLY RUINED MY LIVING EXPERIENCE IN DC.

After months of looking for apartments and speaking with some not so nice leasing agents, Woodner was a breath of fresh air. From my first phone call with Corzann who was transparent and able to get me a same day tour appointment, and just so sweet and helpful to Carmela who showed me the apartments that would be best suited for me. It made the experience of viewing apartments in DC very pleasant, especially after dealing with landlords who don't communicate and offer little to nothing. While I did just tour the apartment, but I couldn't imagine the quality of the apartment would decrease by any means living here.

Starting to feel they are just collecting application fees...

Like many others here and other review outlets like Rent.com and Google, the Woodner practices unlawful and unethical accounting and residential leasing practices. They apparently continue to ignore their vermin and bed bug infestation problem. They do not return deposits unless you as the former tenant hunt them down and demand it.

This apartment is unsuitable for housing. Recurrent mold on walls and ceiling make this apartment dangerous for human health. Unresolvable clogging pipes in the kitchen bring dirty water several times a day every single day, the water collected from all 12 floors flooding from my waste-pipe and contaminate with bacteria the part of the kitchen where I prepare my food. Ineradicable mice continuously damage my clothes such as my mink and wool coats, angora jackets, linen pants and dresses, eight pairs of medical uniforms etc., all about $4000. Unfortunately, Woodner Company does not take any responsibility for damaged health and property of their tenant. They offered me to switch apartment, and I was happy to do it, however, leasing office offered me few studios with very high price, while those studios are in much lower price in the market sites. Moreover, there was no transition process from one apartment to another for a loyal tenant, but I was forced to go through new leasing process with all the fees.

Very satisfied living here! Lots of bang for the buck!
