Fantastic place to live!!! Can't understand why the negative reviews, a lot must have changed in 2 years. The grounds are well maintained, office and maintenance staff are all friendly and helpful. Anytime I've had a maintenance issue it's addressed the same day by polite and professional staff. The manager Chiante is a lovely woman who goes above and beyond to ensure residents are beyond happy living here. Beautiful pool and lake, fitness center, laundry facility always clean and inviting. I moved here sight unseen from out of state two years ago and have been extremely impressed with how this place is managed and kept not to mention the apartments are upgraded and beautiful and so convenient right across the street from restaurants and shopping. So glad I didn't waste money at a huge place like Carlton Arms or Champions Walk where you're just a rent check. Here you're a resident, a neighbor in a community. It's home. Go see them you won't regret it!

Place has improved under its new leadership but still have bumps in the road. What is good for one is not what is good for the rest. Until current management gets it in their heads to treat everyone equally they will never have a nice place for people to call home. Example: One lady has this car cover, she hangs it on a bannister in a common area. It is an eye sore. It also not allowed but they ignore it. Another example a lady has an assigned space because she has a handicap placard, yet she parks in spaces that are not assigned taking away a space from other residents. This is wrong. Another is one of the employees makes his own rules. He has an assigned space and he isnt handicapped at all which is not right either. People have kiddie cars parked in common areas below steps, there is a shopping cart that has been there for weeks. THings like that. Rules are set to provide a uniform existence in a community. This may well be our last year here. Tired of the double standards.....

rent increases 600-800 per year every year and we have been here for years. Property has deteriorated. Some of the newer residents must be getting some kind of really special deal.

Spent the day at a friend's apartment and his neighbor was throwing a ball against the wall all day long. Started in the morning and went on all day. My friend says it happens at all hours of the night also. He has made multiple complaints and it does not even slow down. This goes on everyday and nothing has been done about it. The managers of the complex do not care apparently. Just keep the apartments occupied is all that matters. He tried calling several times while I was there, and they never answer the phone. At $1000 a month you should not have to live like in that situation.

Noise - Around the clock, you better love it. Residents and their visitors blast car stereos in the parking spaces and while sitting in the road in front of apartments. 24 HOUR car wash next door, so you will hear loud rap day and night whether it is 3 am or 3 pm. Car alarms also can be a problem. Vehicles race through here at all hours, loud mufflers, loud motorcycles. There are no real speed bumps to help stop this. Neighbors banging on walls day and night, and the management does nothing after being notified multiple times. Domestic disputes from one pair in particular are frequent, staff has witnessed, yet nothing happened. Parking - Parking was a serious issue with vehicles that have not moved in months. Some have tag decals that expired months ago and are not in running condition. Several people take up two spaces with one vehicle regularly. People have multiple vehicles and trailers, a number of which I am sure have not been registered with the office. Backing vehicles into parking spaces so that it is not evident they do not have a decal. Some vehicles in the visitors spots remain for days or weeks. We have to park a street away some nights, and due to the lighting that frequently does not work, it is unsafe. After hurricane - Almost one month after Hurricane Irma, no attempt to clear trees and debris. Staff putter around on golf carts with three foot long tongs picking up bits of paper, instead of using saws to cut down and remove obstructions to dozens of parking spaces. These dried trees and limbs constitute a fire hazard in a place that has caught fire twice in eighteen months. The only people here more often than the Fire Department is the Sheriff's Department. Many parking spaces are unusable due to the downed and dead trees and limbs. These should have been removed as soon as the storm had passed Safety, Security - Lighting is pathetic. Mailboxes are not secure and lighting in that area has been out frequently. Some apartments are keyed with both
