I'm sorry you had an issue with Genesis. If there are any issues with any team member you should speak to the manager so that he is aware and can handle the situation. We take service to our Residents very seriously and will make any situation right. We strive to always do the right thing.
Rent goes up every year! I have been a loyal tenat and I am always having issues with the sink, bathtub gettin Read Moreg clogged they show up days after do something to it and it goes right back to the same issue. is only a temporary fix. They spend a lot of money making the outside look good but little do you know they do not update the inside of the apartments. my closet doors are falling apart my windows have mold. and anytime you call for maintenance they take days to come.

Unfortunately rent increases are inevitable as the market rents increase. As far as maintenance issue we do our best to make repairs in a timely manner. Sometimes clogged pipes need a contractor to come jet the lines. If the problem keeps happening we would call a plumber to do this so that the problem is resolved. With any repair it could happen again due to residents in the building flushing items that they shouldn't but we would always take care of the issue regardless. We are still under rehab and are in the process of updating all occupied units since the exterior rehab and vacant units are complete.
This is the absolute worst place to live. Back before this new management came in I liked living here. Not any Read Moremore. When the new management took over, they didn't even have my husband as a lease holder! They've misplaced our rent checks twice because they didn't have us in the system. We have major mold and have for weeks and they haven't come to fix it. They don't spray the grounds for fleas and such so I had to go through all of that with my dogs. The staff is rude and impossible to deal with. The apartments suck, there's roaches, silverfish, stinkbugs, ants EVERYWHERE. DO NOT MOVE HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

We take mold very seriously and would not allow a mold issue would continue for weeks. With any report of mold we call a certified mold expert the same day it's reported and take the measures to correct it immediately. We've had no reports of fleas on the grounds. If that's an issue we can gladly treat it. If reported, Pest control can come every week until a problem is resolved. If you feel any staff member was rude it should be reported to the Manager as that will never be tolerated.
Consistent rent increase without consistent upkeep of facilities/ property. Response of maintenance request sl Read Moreow at best. Whatever happened to prospect of clubhouse to fitness room?

We have central heat and air in the 2 bedroom apartments. The one bedroom apartments have Ptac units that vent into the bedroom. This is typically sufficient and we do not get complaints about it.
