    I have been here for two years. The only reason is because it was the cheapest option when it comes to moving. The pool is not kept up with, the landscape (everything) looks great in the pictures, but you'll come to find the pine needles and sap stuck to your car get old pretty quick. The landscape people just leaf blow them into bigger piles so it just accumulates quick. There's major flooding problems here and it's partially because of the sewage not draining properly, so don't walk in the puddles. I have asked since the day I have moved in about when the dog park (fence and lock) would be fixed and it's been two years; no fix. The apartment itself makes up for the lack of effort the corporate management puts in. Super spacious bedrooms, walk in closest, washer/dryer in the unit, dishwasher and porch. The bathroom needs an update because the tub is pealing away. It's nice because the complex size is huge, but you really only have the four other tenants on the entry part of your building who you see. I also rarely hear anyone who lives around us. Unfortunately, it's hard to find a good complex that treats everything correctly and something you can afford. I wouldn't recommend the complex to anyone, but it's not terrible.

    According to the maintenance supervisor, you can't use the garbage disposal because it is too small. He talked to me like I am stupid and used to live in a cave an never lived in a house before. When the kitchen sink clogs, it automatic clogs the bathroom sink as well. They know what the problem is but they keep doing temporary fix for a permanent problems. I got so tired for calling them that I went to home depot rented a snake and fixed the clogging problems myself.
    Last time they were here to fix the clog the I was out working and he told my mom who was visiting at the time that next time we clog the sink he was going to bring a bill for the work performed. I confronted him in the parking lot and asking him for the bill so I can take it to the city hall and file a complaint against this Blue Rock. And I told him that if he has anything to say about the apt say it to me. I am the on lease agreement.

    I felt as though the apartments could be upgraded a little. The bathroom tub and sinks and the kitchen countertops.

    These apartments are very spacious for a great price. They are a little out of date, but overall in good condition. I experienced a handful of roaches in a 13 month period ( which isn''??t bad for Jacksonville (THERE EVERYWHERE)) a few maintenance issues, but the office was quick to come out to fix. These apartments are in a great area, and I experienced no issues with lousy neighbors.

    I enjoy living here. the pool is nice and the apartment itself is nice.
    I am not happy about the lack of insulation between the floor above me and my apartment. I can hear the people and their huge dogs..which by the way are on the 3rd floor, are constantly running up and down the hallway and shaking my dining room lights.
